About Union City, New Jersey

Union City is a city in the northern part of Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The portion of that land that included the future Hudson County was purchased from members of the Hackensack tribe of the Lenni-Lenape and became part of Pavonia, New Netherland. Washington Park, which covers 22 acres (8.9 ha) straddling the border of the city and The Heights neighborhood in Jersey City, is part of the Hudson County Park System. (Wikipedia)

Does the school pay you to attend?

Total Image Beauty Academy funds essentially no grants of its own — almost all aid here comes from federal (Pell), state, or outside sources rather than the school's own discount. Its sticker price is what it is.

Is it worth it?

Typical debt would take roughly 4.5 years to repay at about a tenth of median earnings.

Solid value

A reasonable return: earnings comfortably clear the debt over a few years for most students who finish.

Earnings are the College Scorecard median for former students (working, not enrolled) 10 years after entry — not a guarantee, and they vary a lot by major. Debt is the median federal loan balance at graduation.
