About Boca Raton, Florida

Boca Raton is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. When Spain surrendered Florida to Britain in 1763, the remaining Tequestas, along with other Indians who had taken refuge in the Florida Keys, were evacuated to Cuba. In the 1770s, Bernard Romans reported seeing both abandoned villages and no native population in the area. Office Depot, a supplier of office products and services, has its global headquarters on a 28-acre campus in the city. The GEO Group also has its headquarters in Boca Raton based out of One Park Place. (Wikipedia)

Modest institutional aid: 43% of freshmen get a grant from the school, averaging $1,043. Most of what lowers the price here is federal or state money, not the school's own funds.

Blends need-based and merit aid — IPEDS doesn't split the two, so a high number can mean generous merit scholarships, deep need-based aid, or both. Figures cover 183 full-time first-year undergraduates, 2022–23. Source: IPEDS Student Financial Aid.
