About Longview, Washington

Longview is a city in Cowlitz County, Washington, United States. The first Euro-American settlers were led by Harry and Rebecca Jane Huntington, in 1849. The area was named Monticello in honor of Thomas Jefferson's home in Virginia. Every Independence Day, Longview hosts the Go Fourth Fest at Lake Sacajawea.
