Troy is a city in and the county seat of Miami County, Ohio, United States. Troy was platted around 1807. A post office in Troy has been in operation since 1824. Troy is home to the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, a 1914 Romanesque mansion donated to the city by Mary Jane Harter Coleman Hayner.
