About Lufkin, Texas

Lufkin is the largest city in Angelina County, Texas, United States, and is the county seat. By 1820 Anglo settlers had started to arrive in the Angelina County. The Burris Family established themselves in the area. Texas State Forest Festival and Southern Hushpuppy Championships run in September. The festival brings net profits to the city of US$60,000.
