Guide
Which colleges the Jewish label includes
A college is on this page when its IPEDS affiliation is exactly Jewish. The fact column repeats that label because the match is exact. Yeshivas and rabbinical colleges that report the affiliation are included. The table sorts by state.
These colleges are not on the Christian colleges page. Jewish is one of the four labels that page removes. A college can be on this page and on the men's-college page at the same time when both flags apply.

The exact Jewish label
Exact match keeps the page from catching a college that merely offers Jewish studies. The affiliation has to be the Jewish label. A large university with a Jewish studies department stays off unless it reports that affiliation for the institution.
The set includes campuses whose predominant credential is not a typical bachelor's degree. That is expected. The degree split below is part of reading the list honestly. A yeshiva is not a data error.
Jewish studies is not the affiliation
Hundreds of colleges enroll Jewish students and do not report a Jewish affiliation. They are not missing from this page by accident. The page is institutional affiliation. It is not a census of Jewish students.
A college that reports a different religion, or no religion, stays off. There is no second list of culturally Jewish campuses hiding underneath the filter.
How to read a short religious list
Look at enrollment and predominant degree before you compare earnings. Some of these institutions are small, and some do not report every Scorecard field. A blank earnings figure stays blank. It is not zero.
Where the men's-college flag is also set, the men's page will include that campus too. The overlap is explained there. This page does not require the men's flag. A campus reporting a Jewish affiliation stays even if it is not men-only.
Why it is separate from the Christian list
Folding this label into the Christian page would be a factual error. The Christian page excludes it on purpose, and this page exists so the colleges are still findable. The two rules are meant to be read together.
The page does not rank these institutions and does not describe religious practice beyond the reported label. Scorecard numbers are what the figures add. Practice is outside the file.
Where the schools are
These schools sit in 8 states. The largest groups are New York (25), Pennsylvania (4), California (3), Florida (2), and Illinois (2). The rest of the roll is spread across the other states in the table.
Who runs them
Every school with a reported control is a private nonprofit college. Control is the Scorecard field. It is not a judgment about quality.
Predominant degree is the credential the campus awards most often. On this list it is a bachelor's degree at 29 schools, a graduate degree at 6 schools, an associate degree at 3 schools, and a certificate at 2 schools. A campus can still award other credentials.
How large they are
The largest undergraduate enrollments on this list are Uta Mesivta of Kiryas Joel in Monroe, New York, with 2,957 undergraduates, United Talmudical Seminary in Brooklyn, New York, with 2,241 undergraduates, Talmudical Seminary of Bobov in Brooklyn, New York, with 602 undergraduates, Rabbinical College Bobover Yeshiva Bnei Zion in Brooklyn, New York, with 473 undergraduates, and Mesivta Torah Vodaath Rabbinical Seminary in Brooklyn, New York, with 399 undergraduates. Enrollment is the undergraduate figure. It is not a ranking, and it leaves out graduate students.
5 schools do not report an undergraduate enrollment. Those campuses stay off the size order. A blank is not zero.
1 school is reported as online-only. The others are not marked that way in this file.
Admission
15 of 40 schools report an admission rate. The median of those rates is 80%. Schools with no reported rate stay out of the median. A missing rate is not an open door, and it is not a closed one.
The lowest reported admission rates on this list are Yeshiva Shaarei Torah of Rockland in Suffern, New York, at 37%, Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York, New York, at 49%, and Hebrew Theological College in Skokie, Illinois, at 57%. A lower rate is harder entry. It is not a score for the school.
The highest reported admission rates on this list are Telshe Yeshiva-Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, at 100%, Yeshivath Beth Moshe in Scranton, Pennsylvania, at 100%, and Rabbinical Seminary of America in Flushing, New York, at 98%.
What they charge
Among 31 private colleges that report a sticker price, the median is $13,600. 9 other private colleges on the list do not report one.
Sticker price is not net price. Grants, waivers, and a service commitment can move the bill by a wide margin. Open a school for the net-price figures.
Earnings and graduation
Among 16 schools that report earnings, the median of those school-level medians is $36,494. The clock starts at entry, not at graduation. The highest reported medians on this list are Touro University California in Vallejo, California, at $104,805, Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada, at $104,805, and Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York, New York, at $92,751.
Among 31 schools that report a graduation rate, the median rate is 44%. A blank rate is left out. It is not treated as zero.
Also on other lists
Some of these schools also meet the rule for another list on this site. The overlap is a second flag or a second classification. It is not a second ranking.
2 are also on liberal arts colleges. 22 are also on men's colleges.
How these figures work
Admission rate, enrollment, sticker price, earnings, and graduation rate all come from the College Scorecard. Earnings are the median 10 years after a student entered the school. Tuition for a public college is the in-state sticker price. Tuition for a private college is the published sticker price. None of these is net price after aid.
A blank field stays blank. This page does not turn a blank admission rate into an open door, a blank fee into a free application, or a blank earnings figure into zero. The table above is membership under the rule in this guide. Sort order is not a quality ranking.
